Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception
2, maybe 2.5 stars if I'm feeling generous. Couldn't relate to Deirdre (Dee) at all and was horribly annoyed by her sudden transition into Super Magic Girl. No training, no warning, all of a sudden she just did it...and she kept doing it, all through the book. Seriously, all she had to do was think real hard and voila, here comes the magic, right on cue! It was utterly ridiculous.
